Ready-Made Bio-Degradable Coffee Bags Now Available to Order

Ready-made bio-degradable bags can now be quickly and easily purchased `off the shelf’ from Convex Plastics to pack hot and cold coffee beans and grinds.

Featuring Convex Plastics’ new Econic technology – the coffee bags are ideal for businesses looking for a more environmentally friendly way to pack and market their coffee.

The ready-made Econic stock coffee bags are made from three separate bio-degradable films that are laminated together to provide a high level of functionality at a competitive price point. All three films have been internationally certified to EN13432 for composting and bio-degradability.

Plain Econic coffee bags can be purchased `off the shelf’ from Convex Plastics in both 500g and 1kg sizes, both with and without vents. A smaller 250g pack will be also available to purchase later this month.

Convex Technical Manager Andrew Sheerin (pictured above) says the ready-made Econic bags have been especially made to provide businesses with ready access to high quality plain bio-degradable coffee bags, which they can fill and seal themselves.

Convex also offers `made to order’ printed Econic coffee bags (such as those manufactured for Trade Aid) for company’s wanting to custom-brand their bags.
