Our Company

Convex Plastics is a privately owned packaging company which specialises in the design and manufacture of top quality polyethylene flexible films, ready-made bags, promotional materials and labels.

We have been successfully operating since 1976, and currently employ over 100 staff in two countries. Our head office and main manufacturing plant are based in Hamilton New Zealand and we have sales and distribution centres in Auckland, Christchurch and Sydney.  Our fully-equipped Hamilton plant features the latest extrusion, conversion and printing technology, as well as a state-of-the art research and development laboratory.

Skilled and experienced personnel together with the utilisation of the latest technology has secured us a reputation for reliability, innovation, quality and good service.

One of our major strengths is our ability to custom manufacture to our clients' specifications - every time.

From short-runs to runs of 1,000,000+, we can produce almost everything from basic one-colour carry bags, to the more technically-challenging multi-laminated chemical-resistant heavy duty sacks and polysleeve labels with sophisticated welding for easy packing and handling.

We are also a quality assured approved supplier of food grade packaging and produce a wide range of customised packaging for the food industry.
